Good afternoon, everyone. Brother Otis and Brother Rodney here for another episode of the Forsaken Horizon Podcast. We’re grateful to be together tonight. Welcome, Brother Rodney.

Thank you, Otis. It’s always a blessing to join you.

Tonight, we’re reflecting on a topic close to our hearts: bondage. When we talk about bondage, we think of chains and predicaments that trap people, often without them even realizing. It’s something many of us battle daily—struggles that keep us from living out God’s purpose for our lives.

From the beginning, sin brought bondage into the world, as seen in Genesis 3. Whether it’s personal struggles or broader societal issues like those we see in the news, bondage separates us from God’s plan. But through scripture and personal experiences, we know that God calls each of us to break free from these chains, to come forth into His light.

Reflecting on biblical examples like Lazarus, David, and even the repentance of King David, we see God’s enduring love and grace. He doesn’t abandon us in our struggles but calls us to recognize our sins, seek forgiveness, and live in the freedom He offers.

So tonight, let’s delve into what scripture teaches us about overcoming bondage, the importance of accountability, and how God’s love always prevails.
